1 · What we collect
A Glydar account: e-mail, username, encrypted password. Your contributions: spots, confirmations, reviews, photos. Your settings: weather thresholds, drones, preferences. That is all — no advertising tracking, no profiling.
2 · What we never do
Sell or rent your data. Display advertising. Expose your position, your favourites or your private sessions. Fake activity.
3 · Where the data lives
On servers located in France, at OVH (OVH SAS, Roubaix) — site, app and audience measurement included. Audience measurement is a self-hosted Umami instance, anonymised and cookie-free, administered by the publisher. Other processors: weather forecasts and transactional e-mails, within the European Union.
4 · Payment of contributions
When you contribute, payment is handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland), payment provider and processor. Glydar neither sees nor keeps your card number. Glydar receives the amount, the date and the status of the payment and, if you link your contribution to your account, associates it with that account. The first name, last name and e-mail address entered before payment are passed on to Stripe, which uses them to issue the invoice; Glydar does not keep them and holds them only for the time needed to send a thank-you message. Glydar keeps only a transaction reference provided by Stripe. Payment records are kept for ten years, the duration of the accounting obligation. The terms of sale are in the terms of sale.
5 · Audience measurement
We count visits with Umami, a tool we host ourselves in France: no data is passed to a third party, and nothing is cross-referenced with other sites. What is counted: the pages viewed, a few anonymous actions (creating a spot, installing the app…), the type of device and browser, the approximate country. No cookie, no personal identifier — and never a link with your account.
Sole purpose: understanding how the site is used in order to improve it. Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest, this measurement being exempt from consent according to the CNIL (the French data protection authority). Statistics are kept for 25 months at most.
You can object: if your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is counted. You can also write to us at contact@glydar.eu.
6 · Your rights (GDPR)
Data controller: Vivien Masset, sole trader (SIRET 999 249 055 00016). Access, rectification, export and deletion — directly from the app’s settings, or by e-mail to contact@glydar.eu (subject “GDPR”). Response time: 30 days at most.
7 · Cookies
The essentials work without third-party cookies. Details on the Cookies page.
